Puppy Pals

Howdy - MichelleO here today and I am loving -Puppy Pals - such a sweet little image. And perfect for a little note card for a friend.

This is a small 4x4 inch card. I colored up Puppy Pals with Copics (colors below) Then I found a piece of scrap pattern paper from Websters. Brown card stock for the base and mat. A part of die cut from Desire's. Three sequins, with dots of Viva Decor Cream Dots. Then the great new sentiment also from the new release "Life without Dogs... I don't think so"

Great little card to tie to a little gift bag or present. Perfect for what I needed!

Welcome To The Farm!

Hi High Hope Fans!
I am so excited to share this adorable Pop Up Box card with you today! I had this idea in my head and it turned out just like I envisioned! Gotta love when that happens LOL! All these cute images are from the "So Much Cuteness" Release over at High Hopes Stamps.
I used the following stamps for my little farm scene:
I stamped them all and then fussy cut them out to add to my box.

The box card was simple to assemble using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card Pop Up die! I love that it folds flat for perfect mailing to that special someone!
All My papers are from the Bella Blvd Barn Yard collection! I even fussy cut the little red barn to add to my scene. I stamped and cut out the sun as well from a stamp I had in my stash! It's popped up on a bit of acetate to look like it's up in the sky!

Chubby Pumpkins Gift Bag

Welcome Back High Hopes Friends,
For today a bring you a quick and easy gift bag idea for this coming Thanksgiving season!

I stamped "Chubby Pumpkins" with Black Archival ink onto watercolor paper, and colored with Gansai Tambi watercolors. After the image was coloured I fussy cut it leaving a tiny white border around. I hand cut some flags out of 6X6 paper pack and burlap ribbon.

Here is a close up!
I pop my pumpkins image with glue dots adhesive to give just a little dimension.
For the main circle I used 3D foam adhesive.

Life Without Dogs...

Hello High Hopes Fans!

I hope you've had a great week.
I haven't had a lot of stamping time but I did find enough time to play with one of the new images.

This is Puppy Pals.

I colored the image with Black and Burnt Ochre Prisma color pencils.
I blended the pencil with gamsol and blending stumps.

The sentiment is Life without dogs.
I used Spellbinder dies and a paw print brad from eyeletoutlet.com
Paper is Queen & Co.-Pet Paws.

I hope you enjoyed today's inspiration.

See you next week!

Somedays You Just Have To

Happy Thursday and welcome back High Hopes fans!

My post this week features another of my favourite things - stamping! and colouring of course. I talk to people all day and there is really nothing like coming home and hiding in my craft room - there is something theraputic about colouring and stamping isn't there?
Ronda Stamping Angel was the perfect stamp to share one more of my favourite things.

I started by colouring my stamps with alcohol markers and hand fussy cutting her out. Originally I had another plan for this card but it didn't come together like I wanted it to so I had to redirect my creativity...does that ever happen to anyone else?
I added this cutie to an embossed heart background and stamped my "partial" sentiment directly onto my patterned paper. Some sparkly ribbon and sparkly gumdrops - another of my favourites - finish off my card.

Goat Your Back

Howdy - MichelleO here today, now when I saw the new release from High Hopes Stamps we all know the new Donkey stamp was the first to jump out at me and made my heart sing. But then I saw these cute little goats! "Goat Your Back"

Oh my they remind me so much of my Momma Goat Rhett and her babies! I decided that they needed a farm to have fun in... so I stamped off first "Goat Your Back" Masked that off and stamped the "Farm Fence" Masked that off with the goats. And then stamped the background "BARN" I love how they all came together and have a scene you have fun coloring! I colored with my Copics. (colors below) and then went to find papers for my card.

I decided to just work with one pattern paper and keep things a bit simple since the image deserves the attention. My papers is from Graphic 45. I sewed all the layers down and used a Core'dinations dark red card stock for mats and the base. The sentiment is perfect "Furever in my Heart" Then three red enamel dots to finish it off.

Copic colors used -

Can you say ADORE for the new release "So Much Cuteness"! Having so much fun with it! To see all the new Cuteness click HERE.

Hope you enjoyed!

I'm using papers from the Simple Stories "Posh" 6x6 collection. I cut out my image using a heart die and then decided to add more heart cut outs to create my layout! Some enamel dots and wine finish off my card!
I decorated the inside to match and used the "Somedays" sentiment.
