Heaven and Nature Sing

Welcome back High Hopes fans! My post this week features Harp Angel from the new Seasons of Celebration Release
I have chosen to colour her in some non traditional Christmas colours. This stamp is versatile as I can see using it being used for Valentines' Day too...hmmm....another card added to my "to do" list .  My Mom's best friend loves angels on her Christmas cards so I can see an "order" coming up for this stamp especially because my Mom was with me when I coloured it and said the stamp would be perfect for her bestie!

After colouring this sweetie with alcohol markers I cut her out using a stitched square die. I added some Stickles to her wings and silver sparkle pen to her harp - I love a bit of bling on my cards! Some paper from MME was perfect for my non traditional colours and a simple silver bow and some silver gumdrops finish off my card.

Little Drummer Boy & Friends with Winter Wonderland Background

Howdy -  MichelleO here today and if you are wondering if you remember this image from last weeks High Hopes Stamps post. Well Sort of... I pulled out the new release Little Drummer Boy & Friends to play with this week I still had the Winter Wonderland Background on my desk from my card last week. I sat the Drummer boy on the background image just by accident... and then had to stamp them together! That background stamp is a favorite and it works wonderfully with so many images!

Cute right?? I colored with my Copics (colors below) after masking off the drummer and friends then stamping the background over him. I had lots of fun again with my Marvy Snow Marker and then LOTS of Viva Decor Glitter Pen. For my card I went with simple colors light blue for my base, Fiber paper that I frayed on the edges and then the black is actually where I went around the edges with a black copic. A fun older sentiment worked well with this stamp.

Here is an angled photo to show off all that bling snow!

Copic colors used -

Imagine a whole collection of different Christmas Cards all with different images centered!! Oh.. ideas brewing!

Do you have any of the fun High Hopes Stamps Background Stamps? If not click here to see them and add them to your cart... you know you will hehehe

Thanks so much -

Winter Wishes!

Howdy!
As I mentioned before, I love Snowmen and it just doesn't get any cuter than the High Hopes "Winter Wishes Snowy" rubber stamp! I love the country feel to this image and the heart surrounding it!
I chose papers from the Echo Park "Tis The Season" 6x6 collection and then coloured my image to match the colour scheme!  I masked off my image, then using some Tuxedo Black and Wedding Dress White Pico Embellisher with a paintbrush I "flicked" some paint splatters around the image. It just adds a fun element to your design!

Christmas Joy

Happy Sunday!

I am working on a real cool project with the new release stamps, but it has taken me more time to finish than I thought it would, so..... to be continued.. ;)

In the meantime I've created this simple (but fun!) Christmas card!
I just love these golden oldies stamps and if you search for Santa on the website there are so many Santa (72!!) stamps to choose from!!

For this card I've used Woodland Santa together with the Peace, Love, Joy sentiment.
Together with traditional Green and Red cardstock and some lovely Chrismas dessinpaper.

Well, I'm off working on that project I've mentioned earlier!

Christmas love -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there and Happy Saturday!
Today's creation is made with ...
A little tag for Christmas all ready to go under the tree. I used a die cut for the tag shape.  You
can always hand cut a tag if a die is not available.
The tree is also hand cut and I added a few branches and white acrylic paint for a
snowy look to this Winter scene.
Pine, pine cones and a textured brackground were all used here!
This owl was coloured with Copic markers and I also used some candy cane twine  :)
I hope you'd like to join us in our Christmas/Winter Challenge, you can find all the details HERE.

Mistletoe Kisses?

Poor Tink! He is looking all charming and adorable but his only Christmas wish has always been to get a kiss under the mistletoe. I even added some freckles to add to his charm but for some reason no one wants to give him a kiss <smile>

Meet Hopeful Tink from High Hopes Rubber Stamps - he is adorable isn't he?! Any skunk lovers out there who will grant Tink's wish?

After colouring this charming skunk with alcohol markers, I cut him out using a stitched oval die. I added some bling to his hat pom pom using Stickles and some clear Spectrum sparkle pen to the mistletoe berries. The sentiment was masked off, stamped and the question mark was added with a black marker. I added this adorableness to some fun patterned paper, added some ribbon and gumdrops to help this cutie get a kiss.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Hopeful Tink - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Candy Cane and Mistletoe - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: A Very Merry Christmas - Carta Bella

Waddlin' By with Winter Wonderland Background

Howdy - MichelleO here and we had our first cool front here in Texas. Ok... so it will still be in the high 80's later in the week, but hey one front means another will be coming and then it will be winter. And winter is bling-y to me. Snow sparkles right.. ok in my little made up world I see snow sparkle we don't see much of the real stuff here.

This is "Waddlin' By" along with the "Winter Wonderland Background"

Had so much gorgeous image here I didn't want any pattern paper with this one. The Background stamp is it. Love how beautiful this stamp is. I colored with my copics (colors below) and then but some white on the trees with a Marvy Snow Marker, then added lots of Viva Decor Sparkle Pen! Lots of Sparkle Bling!! I pop dotted the fun little penguin on the background stamp.

I sewed down the image on a white card stock and then created an easel card out of purple card stock.

I doodled some swirls and snowflakes on my base card stock and then matched it up with the High Hopes Stamps sentiment "Waddling by with a winter Hi!" Love that! Always makes me grin.  I added three enamel dots to help stand up my easel card.

Close up of the bling snow!

This is such a fun little image and I hope it brings a smile to someone :0)
Have a wonderful day -

Christmas Themed Box Card!

Good Morning HH Fans!
Today I am sharing with you another "Box" card using the adorable High Hopes images called "3 Wisemen" and "Little Drummer Boy & Friends". I love the little scene I created!

The card is super easy to make using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Pop Up die! My paper today is from the Photoplay Luke2 6x6 collection. I added A stitched Star die in the background with a piece of acetate. All of these images are from the new release " Season of Celebration" over at High Hopes Stamps.

What I love about the Box card idea is that it folds flat for mailing in an A2 envelope. Then it "pops up" when you open it up for a fun interactive detail for your recipient. My mistake with this is that my star is too high for that size of envelope but it will fit in another envelope size for sure.
