Spring Follows

Welcome back High Hopes Fans!

I can't believe it is Thursday already and my turn to post some inspiration for you. I also can't believe it is my last post for April already - Yikes! where is the year going?!

I had some fun playing with "Country Outhouse" this week. Honestly, coming up with a sentiment was probably the hardest part. It was definitely a challenge to keep my cheeky, dry sense of humour at bay.....I will save those sentiment ideas for my brother's cards I think.......

After colouring up my stamp with alcohol markers, I fussy cut it using my faithful cuticle scissors. It was then added to an ink blended background I had on hand from a "play" session awhile back.
The paper from the It's A Girl Dots & Stripes collection gave me the perfect country feel back drop was looking for.
A matching fence cut out with my Cricut and some flowers added a spring feel. Some White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter drops were added to the flower centres as well as the sentiment. The sentiment is stamped and cut out with a fishtail banner die.
I just realized there is a flower missing from the roof that I accidentally cut off and forgot to add back on.......shhhh ...don't tell the boss!

Bunny Blossoms!

Hi High Hopes Fans!
Today's card is using another image from the Think Spring New Release that you can find in the HH Online Store. This image is called "Bunny Blossoms" and is just the cutest thing ever!!!! You could use this stamp for an Easter card but it's also perfect to use for a Spring themed project!
I am using a mix of Design Papers from the Pink & Main "Spring Flings" 6x6 pad. I die cut my image and coloured it with my Copic Sketch markers. 2 bows with an added flower centre finish off my card. It's always hard to see but the flowers and leaves have Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen added to them. In person, it adds such a nice sparkle
Here's the inside using the new sentiment stamp called "Spring Follows".
Copics Used:
Bunny: E53, E55, E57, R01, R02, R20

Watercolor Friendship Card

Good morning High Hopes Fans,
I don't normally created Get Well or Sympathy cards, but I did it. Something out of my comfort zone perhaps. I have created this card using two sentiments from
 High Hopes Stamps

First I die cut a stitched oval out of distress watercolor paper. Carefully used just the flowers out of "With Deepest Sympathy" stamp and mask the sentiment with tape. I stamped the flowers with VersaMark and used some Black Sparkle embossing powder, then heat set it. I wait just a moment for the paper to cool down and stamped "Love & Hugs" using the same technique. My stamping is done so now is the fun part...I coloured the main panel with my Gansai Tambi watercolors and lots of clean water.

I used white cardstock and one of my favorite embossing folder for the background. For finishing touches, I pop the oval with foam tape for dimension and added 4mm sparkling sequins. Hope I have inspired you to created something pretty today.
